Rome – January 22, 2026 The Iraqi-Italian Business Council held an official meeting with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in Rome, in the presence of the President of the Iraqi-Italian Business Council, Mr. Salar Omar Saleh, Mr. Marco Forini, and the ITA team. The meeting explored prospects for enhancing economic and trade cooperation between Iraq and Italy, supporting partnerships between the public and private sectors, and discussing initiatives aimed at facilitating the entry of Italian companies into the Iraqi market, as well as strengthening investment opportunities and trade exchange between the two countries.
